January 2023 Quiet Time

Dec 28, 2022

January 2023 - Quiet Time

 A Message for 2023:

THIS YEAR, PERSEVERE. HAVE FAITH IN GOD!

" He hath chosen us in Him before the foundations of the world.

That we should be holy and without blame before him in love."

     - But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you,

brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning

chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and

      believe of the truth:

     - Wherefore he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the

glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.

     - Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the tradition which

ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

     - Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which

hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and

      good hope through grace,

     - Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

     - Whom he did forknew, he also did predestinate

to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the

firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate,

them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified,

and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

     - Elects according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, thhrough

sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of

      the blood of Jesus Christ.

     - A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put

within you:and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh,

and I will give you a heart of flesh.

     - God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness."

      EPH. 1.4; Eph. 1. 4; 2 Thes. 2.13-17; Rom. 8. 29-30; 1 Pet. 1.2;

      Eze. 36.26; 1Thes 4.7;

" And Jesus answering saith unto them, "Have faith in God.( Mark 11.22).

     - But without faith it is impossible to please him, for he that

cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder

      of him that deligently seek him.( Hebrews 11.6);

     - But Jesus beheld them and said unto them, With men, this is impossible,

but with God all things are possible."( Mat. 19.26).

We have already survived some of the most difficult trials in modern times.

Yet more sorrows, hard times, hunger, wars, pestilences, plaques, diseases,

sufferings, loneliness, isolation, separations, will sadly continue to be

part of humanity's daily life experiences up to the very end.

Improved and increased knowledge that herald in incredible scientific, technological

discoveries, that made significant improvements and changes to standards of living for so

many people in certain parts of the world have lasted only for a short period Time.

The foundations of ones solid socio, economic, development, political, health,

educational and cultural structures that ones had positive impacts in many

people's lives will be shaken to the core, as they run dry with Time, in a scale,

never seen nor experienced before in human history. The result of these hard times

will be widespread fear, anxieties, discouragement, uncertainties, hopelessness,

earthquakes, famine, poverty, natural disasters, economic troubles, distress of nations,

loss of lives and lifestocks, false evolutionary phylosophy, modern spiritualism,

apostacy in the church, great modern increase of knowledge, great tribulation.

These global changes will push this world into the most unpredictable difficult

times ever in its long history, as explained by these Holy Bible passages:

  Matt. 16 1-3; Matt 24.3-51; 25); Joel. 3. 9-11; James 5. 1-6,; Luke 21. 25-28;

  2 Peter 3. 3-7; 1Tim.4.1-3; Daniel. 12.4; Lev. 19.31; Isa.60.8; Hebrews 9.28.

Nevertheless, if we hold on to God, and rely on the Holy Spirit alone to sustain

our faith in Him alone, so it is not shaken, there will never be a single moment

when we loose awareness of His holy invisible presence with us, bearing us up,

sustaining us through our needs, and carrying us when too tired to walk on during

  those most difficult moments.

As we spend time in His presence, He will enlighten us on how we can

help people from far and near, who need His love, and deliverance from the fear of death.

Like His children who have gone before us, we too should be looking upwards knowing

that this world is only our temporary home. Always looking forward with hope and much

expactation, not with fear and trepidation, always prepared, ready, fit to join them

and God our heavenly Father, His Son Jesus Christ and all His holy angels,

the Holy Spirit, and all the hosts of heaven, in that glorious holy City of God,

the NEW JERUSALEM, prepared by Him for all His saints, where we will dwell with Him

in Heaven forever, through all eternity!

ENCOURAGING SCRIPTURES FOR TIMES OF PAINFUL SEPERATION.

(TAKEN FROM DAILY LIGHT DEVOTIONAL - OLD PUBLICATION)

     SEPERATION

                  Mizpah

' The LORD watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another.-'

Pray...But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored

    to you the sooner.

    - But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence,

not in heart endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face with great

desire. Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and

    again; but Satan hindered us.

    - Who shall seperate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress,

or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

As it is written, For thy sake, we are killed all day long; We are aaccounted

    as sheep for the slaughter.

Nay, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,

nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor heights, nor depths,

nor any other creature, shall be able to seperate us from the love of God,

which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

-He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee, So that we may

boldly say, The LORD is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do

    unto me.

    - Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.'

    GEN. 31,49. Heb.13, 18,10. 1 Thes. 2. 17,18. Rom.8. 35,38,39. Heb.13, 5,6.

Matt. 28,20. ( KING JAMES VERSION).

                        SEPERATION

' I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.'

' As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.'

And they went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan, unto Jacob

their father, and told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive, and he is governor

over all the land of Egypt. And Jacob's hert fainted, for he believed them not.

And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said unto them: and

when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob

their father revived: And Israel said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive:

I will go and see him before I die.

    - And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom

of God, shall see my face no more...And when he hath thus spoken, he kneeled

down, and prayed with them all. And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul's neck,

and kissed him, Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they

should see him no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.'
