April 2023 Quiet Time

Mar 29, 2023

April 2023 - Quiet Time

In APRIL 2023 QUIET TIME, we hope that our readers will be able to go back with us

to the Beginning of Creation, to look again at the Creation Wonders, the way God intended

everything He had created and made to be, from the Truth of the Holy Scriptures.

In order to truly understand the present, and the future, we have to revisit the Beginning

of Creation, to let the Holy Bible answer questions that still confuse many today:

Who created the world and everything else in the universe?

Where did humanity come from, and why were they created?

Do humanity have body, spirit and soul; Who gave it to them?

Can the human soul ever die, and why?

Enemy of God, humanity, and creation, Who is he?

What happened to Man after his creation?

HOPE! The Promised Seed, Who is He, did He fulfil the promise?

Who is Everlasting Life? Why must humanity receive this kind of Life, how?

What happens to the human's soul at the End of Earth's life?

Does the soul live on forever in eternity, if so Where and Why?

In the coming month's we hope to continue to learn directly from the Holy Bible,

and Gospel Tracts resources, to understand how the WORD of God answers all the questions

  that still perplex many today.

We will start with THE FIRST BOOK OF MOSES, GENESIS, which answers Creation questions

about all things we see and can't even see on earth and in the heavens, since they were

  created.

We will look again at humanity's journeys and life on earth since Creation,

continuing from Exodus, to other Books of the Old Testament of the Holy Bible.

Then the New Testament of the Holy Bible will be our next focus. In conclusion,

we will discover that these Two Testaments are indeed God's Testimonies, His Witnesses,

His Written WORD, that points humanity to The PROMISED SEED, The LIVING WORD OF GOD!

Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God, the Way, the Truth and the Life!

The Creation Story, is a reminder of how God established His dwelling with humanity, in

unbroken fellowship; how God takes His glory to a place where He shows up in unlikely places.

God has never given up on humanity. He has never abandoned His own Children who are pilgrims

in this present world. He Has promised us another City, a Holy City whose Builder is God.

The Old Testament Prophet, Ezekiel in (Ezekiel Chapter One), tells us of God's persistent love

for His Children. Ezekiel sees a Vision of Right Relationship; A Message of Hope; in which

God is still telling us He Loves us, and wants to pursue a relationship with us.

(Ezekiel 47:1-12) talks about a Vision of The River from the Temple.

It talks about Restoration of Hope. Restoration of Priesthood. Restoration of Israel.

(Ezekiel 48). This Chapter talks about how God is always doing a new thing.

  (Revelation 1:6).

God wants to dwell with His children, and commune with us. The River is flowing from the

Temple of God. God is this Temple. God's Children live in the realm of the Holy Spirit.

God has made them the Stones He uses to build His Temple, because He wants His Children to live in

His Holy presence constantly, immersed in His Living Waters of His Holy Spirit, in order to

experience His Constant Unconditional Unchanging Love, Fellowship, Peace, Grace, Mercy, Guidance,

Counsel, Comfort and to Reprove us when we need it.

Children of God, Don't dip the tips of your toes in and out of the River of God when you

feel like it, when things are not going well with you!

Don't be comfortable sitting near this holy River! Go into it! Go deeper, until you are completely

immersed in Him! (Ezekiel 47: 1-12).

This full immersion in the Living Waters starts from the experience of Salvation, when Christ is

invited into our hearts, and our spirits are transformed into His image, the old man and life of

sin and a love of sinning is dead; as we have been crucified with Christ.

His Holy Spirit comes and takes residence in our new life daily. Living in the holy presence of God

becomes a daily experience for anyone who has given his or her life and will to God.

 .

  (JOHN 1:1-37)(JOHN 3 ).( JOHN 21).(LUKE 1;2; 22;23;24).( ACTS 1; 2; 3).

During water baptism, as born again believing Christians we make a declaration that we have died

with Christ, and that we have risen with Him. Our salvation is a divine Gift to us which cannot be earned.

It comes from God only, because of God's Love, Grace and Mercy for us, and His decision to pardon us our

sins, save our souls, and restore us to Himself through Christ's death and resurrection.

Salvation is God's Free Gift to us because we do not deserve it.

All we have to do is tell Jesus Christ we are sorry for our sins, when we have deep sorrow in our soul,

as God's Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins; tell Him we need deliverance from the power of sin and

death of our souls; to save our souls. As we ask Christ to forgive us our sins, and come into our hearts,

He will respond to us, come in and remain with us, and make us new, as we come to Him in simple trusting

faith, Jesus will give us rest, and His grace to live for Him by studying His Word the Holy Bible daily,

praying (calling upon Him in good and bad times).Tell others about Him. His Holy Spirit in us will guide

us to complete our earthly callings and assignments, no matter the cost and the price.

It is not an easy road to follow Jesus Christ, to travel to heaven, for there are many dangers on this road.

Lost of friends and family relationships are just part of it. Some have lost everything, even their lives.

But Jesus will walk with us, talk with us, and He will take care of us, and lightens the journey, whether

others are with us or have abandoned us.

He has promised to be with us always even to the end of the world, when He will return to take us Home to

heaven, so we will be with Him forever where He is. It is the best ever love story with a happy ending.

This is what Paul the Apostle meant when he said,

"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."

        (Phillipians 1 :21).

We cannot save our own souls. Good works we do mean nothing before God without Faith. Faith and good works

go hand in hand before God. The Bible tells us that faith without works is dead (James 2:20; James 1: 1- 26).

We cannot please God without faith.

"Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back,

my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them

who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe

to the saving of the soul." (HEBREWS 10; 38-39). (HEBREWS 11; 12).

It is not too late to experience this amazing free gift of salvation from God. Like the Prophet Isaiah of old

calling anyone who is thirsty to come and drink water, milk, honey, and to buy and eat without money, in

(Isaiah 53), Jesus Christ is calling anyone today whose soul is tired of trying to make it alone without God,

his or her Creator in this world, to come and receive His free gift of this salvation, that will satisfy your

soul's longing today. Come to Jesus Christ. Come this moment, don't delay. He is waiting and knocking at your

heart's door. Open for Him and let Him come in. Come just as you are. He will never disappoint you. He will

never leave you nor forsake you. As the Holy Bible us:

'For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have

everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world to

condemn the world: but that the world through him might be saved'

          (JOHN 3:16-17).

The Holy Bible records prophetic accounts in the Old Testaments, when the holy Prophets of God,

and God fearing Kings, prophesied of Christ's Mission on earth. God used them to speak in times

past and in various ways to our fathers, generations before Christ was born of a virgin by the power

of the Holy Spirit. He grew up as a man, and taught about repentance from sin, salvation

and His Father's love for humanity. He was crucified, died and rose on the third day from the dead,

and established His Spiritual Kingdom of God on earth, with anyone who will believe on Him and

His Father. He ascended to heaven to be set with His Father in His throne. The New Testament also

records why Jesus Christ the Son of God came to this world and put on our humanity. The Bible says:

"GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past

unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken

unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by

       whom also he made the worlds;

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of

his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power,

when he hath by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right

       hand of the Majesty on high;

Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance

obtained a more excellent name than they" (HEBREWS 1 :1-4 KJV).

"THEREFORE we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things

which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

For if the words spoken by angels were steadfast, and every

transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of

       reward;

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which

at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed

unto us by them that heard him"(HEBREWS 2 :1-3 KJV).

" But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels

for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that

he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all

things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain

of their salvation perfect through suffering.

For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all

one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of

the church will I sing praise unto thee.

And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the

children which God hath given me.

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood,

he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death

       he might destroy him that hath the power of death, that is, the devil;

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime

       subject to bondage.

For verily, he took not on him the nature of angels: but he took on

       him the seed of Abraham.

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his

brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in

things pertaining to God, to make reconciliations for the sins of

       the people.

For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to

succour them that are tempted" ( HEBREWS 2:9-18).

          (Revelation 1; 2; 3). (HEBREWS 1; 2 ; 3).

  King David, the Psalmist, recorded The Passion of Christ in PSALMS 22:1-31;

  ISAIAH, prophesied about the Kingdom and birth of Christ; Christ the corner stone;

  Flourishing of Christ's kingdom in ISAIAH Chapters 9; 28; 35); the Office of Christ( ISAIAH 42);

God conforted His Church in (ISIAIH Chapters 43; 44; ). ISAIAH prophesied of Christ being sent to

the Gentiles, and of Constancy of God's love in (ISAIAH Chapters 49; 50); ISAIAH prophesied of

Exortation to trust in Christ, and Benefits of Christ's passion (ISAIAH 51; 52; 53 );and Comfort

  of the afflicted ; and a Call to Repentance; and Salvation is only of God, (ISAIAH 54; 55; 56; 57;

58; 59; 60). MALACHI 3 prophesied of The messenger of Christ.

The New Testament of the Holy Scriptures have recorded Jesus Christ's birth, His life,

Temptation, His ministry, teachings, miracles, crucifixion, resurrection, ascension to heaven,

in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts of the Apostles, and writings by His later

followers such as, Paul, and other holy men, disciples who testified of, and wrote about Christ.

   (1 THES. 2:12);(JOHN 18-36); (HEB. 10:13); (REV. 11:15); (REV. 5:10);( REV. 20:4); (MATT. 13:43);

    (LUKE 12:32); (LUKE 22, 29,30);(MATT 6:10).( Rev.22).PSALMS 1).

               THE FIRST BOOK OF MOSES

                   GENESIS

  CHAPTER 1

IN the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

  2. And the earth was without form, and void: and darkness was upon the face

of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

  3. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

  4. And God saw the light that it was good: and God divided the light from

  the darkness.

  5. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the

evening and the morning were the first day.

  6. And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and

let it divide the waters from the waters.

7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the

firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

  8. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were

  the second day.

  9. And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto

one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

  10. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the

waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

  11. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed,

and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself,

upon the earth: and it was so.

  12. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his

kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind:

and God saw that it was good.

  13. And the evening and the morning were the third day.

  14. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to

divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons,

  and for days, and years:

  15. And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light

upon the earth: and it was so.

  16. And God made two great light; the greater light to rule the day, and the

lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

  17. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the

   earth,

  18. And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from

the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

  19. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

  20. And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature

that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament

  of heaven.

  21. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth,

which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged

fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

  22. And God blessed them saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters

in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

  23. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

  24. And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind,

cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

  25. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and the cattle after their

kind, and everything that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw

  that it was good.

  26. And God said, Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness: and let

them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and

over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that

  creepeth upon the earth.

  27. So God created man in his own image, in the image og God created he him;

male and female created he them.

  28. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and

replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea,

and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon

  the earth.

  29. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is

upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of

a tree yielding seed, to you it shall be for meat.

  30. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to

everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given

every green herb for meat: and it was so.

  31. And God saw everything that he hath made, and, behold, it was very good.

and the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

  CHAPTER 2

  Creation of Man

THUS, the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the hosts of them.

  2. And on the seventh day, God ended his work which he had made; and he rested

on the seventh day from all his wok which he had made.

  3. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he

had rested from all his work which God created and made.

  4. These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were

created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

  5. And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of

the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the

earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

  6. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the

  ground.

  7. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his

nostrils the breath of life: and man became a living soul.

8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man

  whom he ad formed.

  9. And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant

to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden,

and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

  10. And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted,

  and became into four heads.

  11. The name of the first is Pi-son: that is it which compasseth the whole land

  of Hav-i-lah, where there is gold;

  12. And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

  13. And the name of the second river is Gi-hon: the same is that compasseth the whole

  land of E-thi-0-pi-a.

  14. And the name of the third river is Hid-de-kel: that is it which goeth towards

  the east of Assyria.

And the fourth river is Eu-phra-tes.

  15. And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it

  and to keep it.

  16. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou

  mayest freely eat:

  17. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it:

for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

  18. And the LORD God said, It is not good for man to be alone; I will make him an help

  meet for him.

  19. And out of the ground the LORD God formd every beast of the field, and every fowl of

the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam

called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

  20. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to all fowl of the air, and to very beast

of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

  21. And the LORD God causd a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took

  one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

  22. And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought

  her unto the man.

  23. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be

calld Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

  24. Therefore shall a man leave is father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife:

and they shall be one flesh.

  25. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

 CHAPTER 3

Man's fall. The promised seed

NOW the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made.

And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the

  garden?

  2. And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the

  garden:

  3. But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said,

Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

  4. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

  5. For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and

ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

  6. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to

the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and

did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

  7. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that there were naked; and they

sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

  8. And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day:

and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees

  of the garden.

  9. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

  10. And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked;

  and I hid myself.

  11. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof

I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

  12. And the man said, the woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree,

  and I did eat.

  13. And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the

woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

  14. And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed

above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shallt thou go, and

dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

  15. And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed;

and it shalt bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

  16. Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in

sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he

  shall rule over thee.

  17. And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and

hast eaten of the tree of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it:

cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life.

  18. Thorns and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the

  field;

  19. In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the groung; for

out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

  20. And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

  21. Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

  22. And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil:

and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and

  live forever:

  23. Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from

  whence he was taken.

  24. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cher-u-bims,

and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
